There are a total of five different shooting ranges available - two 50m shooting ranges, 25m shooting range, running target shooting range, clay target shooting range
The 25-meter shooting range is suitable for shooting with pistols up to 9 mm caliber, while the 50-meter shooting ranges are limited to small-caliber rifles (5.6 mm caliber). During the summer, the 50-meter shooting ranges are equipped with Sius electronic targets and falling targets for biathlon shooting. Paper targets are used in the other ranges.
The shooting ranges are open to the public, but individuals must have a firearms license to use them independently (prior booking or calling ahead is recommended). Those without a firearms license can try shooting under the supervision of the center's instructors. Our instructors are experienced shooting athletes and coaches who can provide expert advice and guidance to help everyone hit the mark!
The shooting ranges are also open to larger groups at the Tartumaa Health Sports Center. The center offers various team-building events and birthday parties where shooting activities can be seamlessly integrated, allowing colleagues and friends to compete in a friendly atmosphere.
During shooting events organized at the Health Sports Center, participants can shoot from 5.6 mm caliber sport rifles and pistols, 9 mm caliber service pistols, and air guns. In addition to firearms shooting, archery is often offered as part of these events.
Firearms shooting is permitted from the age of 12 years.
